In the field of search engine optimization, it is common to conduct a so-called audit before starting optimization. First of all, the degree of search engine optimization of a website should be able to be assessed. How does a Website SEO Check work?

It is customary to use a checklist to examine and analyze the existing website. Recommendations for optimization are then formulated on this basis. As a rule, before the start of the SEO audit, a conversation is held with the website owner. In this conversation, questions about the goal, key areas of the website that seem particularly important, previous SEO measures, approaches and expectations regarding the results are discussed.

Once these questions have been answered, the comprehensive analysis of the website can begin.

Basically, search engine optimization is divided into different sub-areas. Among other things, in on- and off-page areas and measures. Below that, the areas are divided into segments such as server and infrastructure, indexing and findability and the information architecture.
