The Google deletion request is, by definition, a form to have unwanted content removed from Google search results or to request deletion.
A Google deletion request is therefore a request to remove certain content from the index of search engine results. This may include old photos, articles, forum posts, or other personal information that could be considered private. This request is usually referred to as the “right to be forgotten” because it allows users to remove unwanted results from search engine indexes without removing them from the web altogether.
This is based on the Data Protection Act. Deletion only takes place if the personal rights of the applicant have been violated.
