And again Google integrates in the “new” Search Console another helpful report, the news: From today we can see directly in Search Console if there are problems with our website.
In the “old” Search Console, these messages already existed, but they were neither sorted by category nor really clearly arranged.
A small bellin the upper right corner gives us an immediate indication when new messages have arrived:

The messages are clearly categorized, e.g. into
- Cover
- Usability on mobile devices
- Assignments

The message then tells us exactly where the problems are and directs us to the relevant reports:
![Error in Google Search Console: Sent URL not found, 404 error.](https://helloperformance.sirv.com/WP_www.hello-performance.com/2019/12/google-search-console-fehler.png?w=1024&h=559&scale.option=fill&cw=1024&ch=559&cx=center&cy=center)
With the help of the improved messaging function, it is now even easier to track down errors on the website and to identify and fix them. We are glad that Google has included this feature in the new version of Search Console.
