Google uses this tool on Think with Google to provide information on what people are currently frequently searching for. The search can be performed by category, country and period (weekly, monthly, yearly). The data can then be used to generate new approaches for content, advertising or product ideas. Unfortunately, at the moment you can only query from Australia, the UK and the USA. However, the list of countries is sure to expand over time. Nevertheless, since the situation is similar worldwide, some interesting conclusions can be drawn. For future keyword analyses in the field of search engine optimization or for research for Google Ads, the tool is certainly interesting.
In the same move, Google also referred to Google Earth, as well as Arts & Culture. If it will not be possible to travel the world for the time being, there is still the possibility to visit places all over the world virtually in 3D or to look at art online instead of visiting a museum.
