There are two approaches in Search Engine Optimization. The Black Hat SEO and the White Hat SEO. Black Hat SEO involves deliberately violating Google guidelines in order to achieve a better ranking. The white hat SEO follows the Google guidelines. These two naming of approaches originally come from western movies, as the adversary often wears a black hat and the hero wears a white hat.
The White Hat SEO needs about three to six months until the implementation of the (SEO) measures bear fruit. The Black Hat SEO is designed to achieve good ranking results as quickly as possible. However, this approach to search engine optimization is not recommended.
Black Hat SEO measures are usually punished immediately since the various updates on the part of Google.
